It is designed for any individual moving into a senior or strategic management role. This can include General Managers, Senior Managers, Section Leaders, Executives, Directors, COO, CFO, CEO, CIO roles, and senior military officers.

We work in partnership with you to ensure you are supported throughout the apprenticeship duration. For Apprentices:

This qualification is the equivalent to an MBA. On completion of the apprenticeship, learners will receive:
  • Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship Certificate accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
Learners will benefit from a free membership with the Institute of Leadership and Management (TILM) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) while studying, access to world class tools and resources, personal support from experts in their field and masterclasses, with opportunities to network with like-minded leaders across the United Kingdom.

Program eligibility

To complete an apprenticeship, you must be employed in an organisation with your employer's support. By undertaking an apprenticeship, you commit to completing the End Point Assessment (EPA). The Senior Leader Apprenticeship typically requires.
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience prior to starting the programme.
  • The minimum requirement is a level 5 accredited qualification in leadership or management, or a degree in any subject.
  • GCSE Maths and English, Grade C (4) or equivalent.

Funding

  • Full Cost - £14000
  • With Funding - £700
Apprenticeships are paid for by employers, not apprentices.
  • Employers with a payroll of more than £3 million can typically use their apprenticeship levy contributions to pay for places on apprenticeship programmes.
  • Any business with a payroll below £3 million is usually eligible for government funding that will cover at least 95% of the cost of an apprenticeship course.
Additional incentives are also available to employers based on differing circumstances.
